I’m a marketing and creative leader specializing in consumer brands.
I believe that everything is in service to the Brand. A product is only as good as it makes someone feel when they’re not using it. Empathy, authenticity, and consistency are the most important traits of a brand and a leader.
I believe in building teams that aren’t afraid to fail. I believe in collaboration, communication, and trust. I love feedback and being decisive.
I believe that all great creative starts with strategy, the best strategies are often based on data points from outside your category, and that context always matters. We should never stop asking "why".
The Sum
In 2014 I launched The Sum, a passion project that became a global perfume and jewelry business.
Existing at the intersection of design, wellness, and a redefinition of masculinity, The Sum showed that even the smallest element makes a difference. The things we wear on our skin can be transformative. They stimulate our senses, evoke memories, and have the power to change our thoughts and emotions.
The Sum was sold in 2019.
